Getting Started

Welcome to MarkFoundry. This guide walks you through your first session. MarkFoundry is developed by Digital Safari.

Open MarkFoundry

  1. Visit https://markfoundry.app/
  2. Wait for the workspace to load.
  3. Review the welcome screen options.

Install as a PWA (optional)

For daily use, install MarkFoundry from your browser to run it locally on your device.

  1. Open markfoundry.app in Chrome, Edge, or Safari.
  2. Use the browser install option or Add to Home Screen.
  3. Launch MarkFoundry from your apps menu, dock, or home screen.

Create your first file

Choose one of the quick actions:

  • New Markdown — start a document
  • New JSON — create structured data
  • New YAML — create configuration files
  • Open File — edit a local file
  • Import Document — convert external documents
